- Cashew(kaju) paste: 2tbsp

- Garam masala powder: 1/2 tbsp

Hi Friends,. Today I am posting a delicious Hilsa fish recipe. It is Hilsa fish recipe with Cashew Nut. It is a traditional Bengali recipe and very popular. We all know that Bengali people love to eat Fish, & always love to do experiment with variety of Fish recipe.The ilish machh (local name of the Hilsa Fish ) has always been the consensus candidate in Bengali society. Maximum Bengali love too much this fish. “Hilsa fish recipe” is a one of the most delicious recipe.

After washing the fish, marinate with salt and green chiily paste and set aside. Keep it for half an hour.
Heat mustard oil in a heavy bottomed pan, when the oil is hot lightly fry the fish pieces for one minute take out and keep aside. Then on a pan add 2tbsp oil.
Add tejpatta and whole red chilly, then slowly add ginger-garlic paste and onion paste, fry it for two minutes add two cup of coconut milk, allow to boil it for two minute.
Then add fish and salt to taste. Add little red chilly powder according to taste, cook for a while. Then add cashew nut paste to the gravy and garam masala powder.
Cashew nut hilsa fish recipe curry is ready to serve. It can be served with steamed rice or vegetable pulao.It is very tasty and delicious abd different from other hilsa fish curry recipe.
